RADIO FARRELL -
'Grab yer shiv and cut loose as the past, present and
future of Rockabilly and classic country duke it out on Rumble
@ the Opry with The Farrell Bros.' On air since the station
hit the FM dial in April of 1999, our show is basically one hour
a week of us playing the music we want to hear. Although the
main focus of the show is and has always been Rockabilly music
(neo, traditional, Psychobilly)
from the 50s right up til the present, related styles (at
least in our mind anyway) have always found their way on
the show, from country to punk. Originally culled
from our own vast personal archives (and still for the most part is) the
show has also been an opportunity for us to offer exposure to
new artists we've come across or met up with. "I'd have to
say the highlight of our run with the show (so-far) would
have to be the time we had in our only guest to date. But what
a guest! Jack Scott! He was in town for a concert and
one thing led to another and Jack was lined up to guest on our
radio show. |
